Books

Extra means GREAT events you don't see every month at The Little Bookshop. Some are organized by moi (Liz) and others by experts in their fields.

Tarot Reading Sessions
One of my favorite book series is "All Our Hidden Gifts" by Caroline O'Donoghue. In these books, tarot cards are important to the story. So when Laurel proposed to do some tarot reading sessions in English, I immediately said yes!

We'll start with three sessions in October 2024 from 18.00:

11th of October (Friday)
15th of October (Tuesday)

31st of October (Thursday)

To make a reservation for 15 min (€15) or 20 min (€20), please have a look at Laurel's website.

Meet Laurel, the tarot reader/clairvoyant

"My name is Laurel and I am a professional clairvoyant tarot reader. I have been reading tarot for over 13 years and I enjoy helping others on their spiritual journey. I receive messages from Spirit and see what they need to show me in order to give the best tarot reading I can. My gifts come from my family due to our rich background. Growing up 30 minutes from San Francisco, California I was immersed in various cultures and beliefs about spirituality and religion. Tarot is a mirror that's meant to reflect what you don't see and to give you another perspective. Tarot can be healing, funny and grounding at the same time. I am honored to take the time to read your cards and to see what the future holds for you. Blessings."

Meet Georgia, the teacher

"Hello. My name is Georgia. I grew up on the east coast in the United States of America. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and did most of my growing up in the Virginia mountains. I received a master’s degree from the USA in second language teaching and a master’s degree from Rennes 2 University in English language teaching. I taught English, Spanish and French in the USA for several years to all levels from university students and adults to pre-school before relocating to Rennes, France.  I’ve been an English teacher in Rennes for 8 years. Currently, I’m an English teacher at two primary schools in Rennes. Making English learning fun and hands-on is my teaching style. I make a point to implement fun and effective approaches that instill a love of English language learning in my students. I’m very passionate about teaching and love sharing my knowledge and background with others.
If you are interested in learning English through games and other fun hands-on activities that are theme related, please join us. I look forward to meeting you. You will have a blast learning and improving your English language skills!"
